Who knew cheerios were such fun!

I ran across an awesome book series to teach negation! The books are titled, The Cheerios Play Book by Lee Wade. They have various animals inside who are missing different items such as buttons, glasses, wheels, etc., and the children's goal is to help complete the picture by adding cheerios! It provides great visual support to such an abstract concept that tends to confuse those with special needs! It also serves as a great reinforcement because children can eat a few cheerios once they have identified the picture that is missing an item and have helped complete it! It is such a fun activity that the children don't even know they are learning such an important concept. Any activity that combines food, fun, and learning deserves an A+ in my book!

  2. You should probably consider changing the font on your website. The cursive writing is not appealing to the eye and is way more difficult to read. I would make this website as friendly as possible :)
